Ahead of City's players returning to pre-season training this week, the Blues have confirmed three of its promising youngsters have been given new squad numbers for the coming campaign.
Having recently put pen to paper on a new four-year deal, Nedum Onuoha takes over the number four shirt, previously worn by Stephen Jordan.
Following his hugely successful end to the season 19-year-old midfielder Michael Johnson will wear number six this season and will hope to carry on the form which earnt him summer call ups to both England Under 19 and Under 21 squads.
Finally, another Academy Graduate, Ishmael Miller moves from the number 43 shirt up to squad number 27.
Any further squad number changes and additions will be announced in due course.
