Joe Hart’s fine form has been rewarded with his being named as City’s Thomas Cook Player of the Month for February.
The 20-year-old, signed from Shrewsbury Town in May 2006, has established himself as the Blues’ first-choice stopper and he is now a regular for the England Under 21 side under the tutelage of his former City boss Stuart Pearce.
Michael Ball picks up the award for January, which could not be presented due to training commitments, after securing the City left-back berth with some consistent performances.
Midfielder Paul Marshall takes the reserves award, while the success of the Under 18 side’s run to the FA Youth Cup final is reflected with winger Vladimir Weiss and goalkeeper Greg Hartley taking the Academy prizes for January and February respectively.
