Craig Bellamy and Vladimir Weiss have shaken off the effects of Swine Flu and are both expected to train in the next 48 hours.

As revealed by boss Mark Hughes before the home win over Chelsea on Saturday, 20-year-old winger Weiss has been suffering from a dose of the disease since the end of last week.

The Slovakian star, who is likely to be heading for the World Cup finals in South Africa this summer, missed out against the league leaders just three days after opening his senior goal account with the third in the 3-0 Carling Cup quarter final victory over Arsenal.

He is due back at Carrington tomorrow and will be in contention for a place in the squad that travels to Bolton on Saturday.

Bellamy reported cold symptoms at the weekend and was tested for Swine Flu on Monday. He was expected to do some light training today and is scheduled join in with the rest of the first team tomorrow so long as his bruised knee has recovered.

Stephen Ireland is also ready to resume action after missing out on the win over the league leaders at the weekend also with a knee knock.
