A stiff back that had hampered Toure during the first half against Liverpool forced him out of the game at the break, but City’s medical team have reported on Monday morning that he has made a good recovery since then and that there is not expected to be any lasting problem.
Mark Hughes has some other good news on the fitness front with a busy week looming, one that starts with the visit of Hull this Saturday. Martin Petrov could be back in training by the end of the week after sustaining an injury to knee ligaments while on international duty recently and Sylvinho’s calf problem, which made him unavailable for the Liverpool game, has also cleared up.
Tickets are still available for the Hull game, there’s more Hull City ticket information here.
