The following statement has been released by the FA.
Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini has been charged with improper conduct.
The charge relates to an incident involving Everton manager David Moyes during the match at the City of Manchester Stadium on 24 March. Both managers were sent to the stands after a touchline confrontation.
The FA has written to Moyes to remind him of his responsibilities but will not be taking formal disciplinary action.
Mancini has until 6 April to respond to the charge.
A Regulatory Commission will hear the charge by or before 19 April.
