City stars are back on their travels again this week as a round of international friendlies breaks up the busy Barclays Premier League campaign on Wednesday night.

England coach Fabio Capello has called up six Blues for the game against France at Wembley - Joe Hart, Gareth Barry, Joleon Lescott, James Milner, Adam Johnson and promoted Under-21 skipper Micah Richards.

Jerome Boateng is in the Germany squad to tackle Sweden and David Silva joins up with Spain as the world champions make the short trip to Lisbon to face neighbours Portugal.

Talking of local disputes, Carlos Tevez and Pablo Zabaleta are in the Argentina squad to play Brazil in Doha, while Aleksandar Kolarov’s Serbia are due in Sofia for a showdown with Bulgaria.

Mario Balotelli joins up with Italy in Romania, Vincent Kompany and Belgium journey to Russia, and Shay Given faces Norway for the Republic of Ireland in Dublin.   

Kolo and Yaya Toure resume duty for Ivory Coast but stay in Europe, against Poland in Poznan, while further afield, Roque Santa Cruz’s Paraguay go east all the way to Hong Kong.

Elite Development Squad defender Ben Mee is in Stuart Pearce’s England Under-21 squad to meet Germany tomorrow evening and midfielder Abdi Ibrahim is promoted to the Norwegian Under-21s for the first time.

Frederic Veseli has been forced by injury to withdraw from the Swiss Under-21 squad and has not travelled.
