John Guidetti has joined Burnley on a month’s loan.
The 18-year-old striker, who scored from the penalty spot in the reserve derby on Tuesday night, enjoyed a successful spell on loan at IF Brommapojkarna in his native Sweden earlier this year.
Having made his first- team debut against West Brom in the Carling Cup in September, John is set to gain further valuable experience for the Clarets as they aim to bounce back from relegation to the Championship. He should enjoy his new surroundings at Turf Moor - he scored a hat-trick there for City’s reserves last March!
