Carlos Tevez is making good progress in his bid to lead City out at Wembley on May 14, though his chances of playing are currently rated at no more than 50/50.

The City skipperĀ pulled up sharply during the 3-0 defeat to Liverpool before the semi-final and has missed the games against Manchester United and Blackburn Rovers but is responding well to treatment and is desperate to play his part in creating history for the Blues.

Micah RichardsĀ is also on track to return to training within the next fortnight as he too makes steady progress from a hamstring injury.

While Richards used an oxygen tent to recover from his initial hamstring strain, he aggravated the injury in training before the semi-final against Manchester United.

While Jerome Boateng is recovering from knee surgery and is rehabilitating well,Ā Shay Given has returned to training after two months out with a shoulder injury.

There are no other injury concerns at present ahead of Sundayā€™s game with West Ham United.
