Fabio Capello has named half a dozen City players in his England squad to face Holland in a friendly international at Wembley on Wednesday night.

Countryman Roberto Mancini will have his fingers crossed and his eyes firmly fixed on Wembley where the Blues’ Nigel de Jong will be in opposition to Joe Hart, Micah Richards, Joleon Lescott, Gareth Barry, James Milner and Adam Johnson.

The City sextet makes up almost a quarter of the 25-man party which contains eleven players who could potentially be involved in The FA Community Shield contest.
