Ryan McGivern has joined Crystal Palace on a month long loan deal.
The 21-year-old defender has made three appearances for the Blues during pre-season and even grabbed himself a goal in the Herbalife World Football Challenge meeting with Club America.
Following loan spells at Leicester, Morecambe and Walsall, the Northern Ireland international returns to the Football League as cover for Palace’s suspended Dean Moxey, who will miss the first three games of the new Championship campaign.
Ryan is expected to go straight into the squad for Saturday’s opening day trip to Peterborough.
