The Blues set off for the Wembley showdown with Manchester United by train and as ever, our intrepid club photographer Sharon was there with the lads every step of the way.

As you can see, Mario Balotelli dances to his own tune, though this time he was apparently listening to a loop of the Trainline advert that sounds a bit like the Zaba terrace chant ‘Do, do, do, c’mon and do the Trainline’ made famous by Eighties duo Black Lace.

What about this for a combination? Sergio Aguero and David Silva - this picture will send shivers down the spines of every Premier League defender in the country...

Sharon won’t reveal what the England boys were laughing at as they awaited for the train’s arrival, though Joe Hart’s suggestion she’d had her lens cap on for the first hour of the day didn’t go down too well.

Train Station

The Balkan trio of Stefan Savic, Edin Dzeko and Aleks Kolarov are never far apart having struck up a close bond during the Us tour. Meanwhile Academy flag-bearers Micah Richards and Shaun Wright-Phillips discuss their on-board chess tournament plans with an iPad Scrabble chaser to follow.

A selection of electronic gizmos, iPods and games were quickly brought out for the journe though Kolarov seems to be practicing the ancient Oriental art of Origami in this picture.

The Train Journey

Sergio and Pablo Zabaleta discuss tweets with Pablo already helping his Argentina team-mate to improve his English by using twitter accounts. Sergio already has more than 800,000 followers and regularly tweets @mcfc, the club’s official twitter acount.
