Five City players are in the running for UEFA.com’s Team of the Year – and your votes can help our lads make the prestigious final XI.
Joe Hart, Vincent Kompany, David Silva, Yaya Toure and Sergio Aguero have all been nominated in positional categories, though Roberto Mancini has surprisingly not made the coach shortlist of five.
Each City player is up against the cream of European football and will need strong backing from Blues’ fans if they are to make the cut.
The player voted as captain of the team will be given a cheque from UEFA for €100,000 to give to the Red Cross at their next UEFA match.
UEFA.com’s voting has now opened and the team will be announced in January – make sure you back our lads!
