Greg Cunningham's loan at Nottingham Forest has been extended until the end of the season.
He has been at the City Ground since late October and was due to complete his loan spell this weekend.
The 20-year-old left back played 13 games for Forest’s rivals Leicester last season until a fractured tibia, sustained on New Year’s Day, forced him to the sidelines.
The Republic of Ireland international’s only start for City so far came in last season’s Carling Cup defeat at West Brom.
