Games are coming thick and fast and there is no time to rest on laurels but it was a quieter day at the office for the players following the win over Leicester.

It is foggy as the morning after the night before brings with it a return to the routine of life at a football club training centre. Steve Aziz, assistant to lengendary kit manager Les Chapman, is sifting through the laundry.

Free from the worries of water temperatures or the potential disaster of mixing colours, David Silva and Vincent Kompany warm down on the exercise bikes in front of the telly. Not sure that a Tour de France future awaits either of them. Allez les Bleus!

It is a screen of a different kind that is occupying the mind of Argentina international Pablo Zabaleta who is busy in the analysis suite checking up on things that went well and badly for him against the Foxes.

Pablo will not witness any footage of  Micah Richards on his computer as the England man has not been seen since the draw at Arsenal. We just hope that’s not him with the Doc Jamie Butler. We know he is always complaining about a skeleton crew but that’s ridiculous!

Whatever the identity of the Doc’s new best mate he needs to get in touch with the new Head Chef at Carrington, Shaun Craig, who is busy setting out the dining room for the players and management.
