The Bosnian striker made an impressive debut against Wolves last weekend but was cup-tied for the Foxes replay and the Blues’ boss is looking forward to having Dzeko available again at Villa Park.
“Edin has settled well and he will improve as the weeks go by,” said Mancini. “He has come from another country and it will take him four or five games to get used to the style and pace of the Premier League because it is different from the Bundesliga, but I thought he made a good start against Wolves.
He arrived here having not played football for 40 days so he won’t be at his very peak just yet, but he will soon get there

The City boss also expressed relief that Mario Balotelli won’t require an operation on his knee and is expecting the Italian to be available again within a month.
“Mario will continue to work hard and I think in three or four weeks he will be able to play again, which is good news,” he said.
“He is a fantastic striker and has everything he needs to become one of the best players in the world, but he also needs to improve and work hard like all our players.
“He needs to show his talent in the Premier League because this is the best championship in the world and it is very important for his future in the game that he is a success here and I believe he will do that.”
The game, which kicks off at 5.30pm, will be covered live on ESPN. To subscribe, call ESPN on 0844 324 1508.
