It is that time of the year when everyone in football is looking back at the season and we are not going to buck that particular trend.

However, we like to think we have our own style on this site and we have decided to do something a little different this time around.

We are so proud of our video content here on the City website that we have elected to produce not one but three top-ten lists covering July 2010 until May 2011.

We will kick off today with a gross abuse of power and my own favourites from the past 12 months and then on Sunday it will be the turn of those who run and use our fast-growing Social Media channels.

Finally on Tuesday we will re-launch the ten most popular videos in terms of hits from you, the fans. There may be a bit of duplication along the way but there is bound to be something for everyone from a selection of more than 900 citytv videos – an increase of 30% on the first year of the ‘new’ site’s launch.

So please sit back and start this videofest by re-living some of the funniest, most poignant and exciting moments of the year with me. You will notice one glaring omission from the lists and that is the dressing room cam at Wembley, which we cannot re-post because of contractual obligations.

Even so, my top ten includes some of the innovations we have championed this year and a smattering of the good work that goes on off the field to make this club so great.

rooftop pitch opening in Lexington New York (we are over there at the moment filming a follow up documentary).

Then there is the fun of the Christmas Card making, Chappys ‘best comedy’, all of which demonstrated the bonding and togetherness in the squad.

The rest of the list is made up of a Behind the Scenes with Mario Balotelli, a tribute to the late, much-missed Malcolm Allison (it was a season for painful goodbyes to more than one great), a look back at where this history-making season started in Portland, Oregon and finally the extended highlights of the FA Cup semi-final win over United – who gets tired of watching that?

While I am taking up your time I would like to say thank you to the hundreds of people who last week sent their best wishes and ideas for future improvements.

We are still working through them and I will have some answers and explanations for you later in the month.

In the meantime, happy viewing.
