Bank Holiday weekends don’t come much better for City fans who saw their favourites scoot seven points clear of the chasing pack in the race for next season’s coveted Champions League places.

As ever, our intrepid photographer Sharon Latham was on hand perfecting her chameleon act in order to bring you some candid behind the scenes shots.

There was an Argentinian theme going on for some of the time, starting at the match against West Ham on Sunday afternoon.

Having been unnerved by the experience in the CoMs players’ tunnel the skipper was keen to get back to work lest he had to spend any more time with former hacks.

And just to make sure he couldn’t escape, the fitness lads put Carlos on a set of heavy duty reins!

Whilst the captain was working on his hamstring injury in a bid to be back to face Spurs in a week’s time, his countryman Pablo Zabaleta was busy cheating on the weighing machine.

He was obviously pleased with his work because later he was all smiles as he watched a re-run of his goal against West Ham on the telly surrounded by chefs!

As you can see his argument detailing that the second goal against the Hammers was his fell largely on deaf and unsympathetic ears. Particularly those of Gavin Fleig from the performance analysis team.

Still the win put everyone in a good mood as the injured Jerome Boateng proved whilst telling fitness guru Simon Bitcon that he must be joking if he thinks he is going to do what he is told!
