Mario Balotelli was the centre of attention once again when City quite literally stopped the traffic in Naples this lunchtime.
Dozens of Neapolitans had waited outside the team hotel since their arrival on Monday evening, and they were rewarded for their patience when the squad went on a brief walkabout.
Super Mario was the star of the show as the Blues brought the street outside the hotel to a halt - with a little help from the vigilant local police force, who did well to keep the City group from being completely mobbed on their way to the Castel dell’Ovo.
The striker’s outstanding form for club and country has clearly made its mark, but there was also a warm reception for Roberto Mancini as he returned to his homeland.
