Micah Richards made his 200th appearance for City in all competitions when he played against Wolves recently, and this week we’ll be celebrating his notable landmark.

The star graduate of City’s Academy will also complete a decade with the Blues next year – no mean feat - and in three exclusive interviews with CityTV, we will look back at his achievements to date.

Though Fabio Capello continually overlooks the powerhouse defender, mystifying the whole nation in the process, we will underline just why the popular full-back is one of the best in the business.

From his debut against Arsenal in 2006, to wearing the captain’s armband against QPR last weekend, Micah looks back on his first five years in the senior team as well as looking forward to many more.

Who could forget his crashing last-gasp goal against Aston Villa after he stormed into the first-team as a raw teenage talent – and the unforgettable interview he gave afterwards?

Or what about the dramatic injury time equaliser away to Everton in 2006, complete with acrobatic celebration?

...Micah at 200

His display in the 6-1 win over Manchester United proved he’s right up there with the very best, too.

A lad who is never short of a smile and one of the most popular players at the club among his team-mates, staff and fans, Micah Richards, take a bow – and here’s to the next 200 appearances.

Fabio might not be able to see what an asset you are for Club and country, but we can!

Now, enjoy part one of our trilogy…
