Abdul Razak has joined Portsmouth on loan until the end of December.

The all-action Ivorian midfielder, 18, made his City debut last February as a substitute against West Brom, but he has started both of the Blues’ Carling Cup ties this season.

Pompey are 16th in the NPower Championship and currently are under the caretaker stewardship of Guy Whittingham, following the recent departure of Steve Cotterill to Nottingham Forest.

Having been part of the senior squad for around a year, Abdul is sure to improve with the experience of regular games, and we wish him well at Fratton Park.
