Yaya Toure is likely to miss Wednesday's game against West Brom but he should be fit for Saturday's trip to Norwich.
The Ivorian midfielder hobbled out of City’s defeat to Arsenal last Sunday with a knee injury after just 15 minutes.
“I don’t think it’s a big injury, but I don’t think he will play tomorrow,” said Roberto Mancini on Tuesday morning. “I think he’ll be ready for Saturday.”
But there is better news on David Silva, who was forced to sit out last weekend’s trip to the Emirates Stadium.
“David had a problem in his knee, but today he is better and he should be able to play tomorrow,” added Mancini, who also confirmed there are no more new injuries ahead of the clash with Roy Hodgson’s West Brom.
