City captain Vincent Kompany catches up with CityTV in Vietnam on the fifth day of his tour of South Asia.

In this episode, Vincent is overwhelmed by the incredible greeting he receives from City supporters when he arrives in Vietnam.

Loud chants of “Kompany, Kompany,” rang out across the arrivals lounge as the City captain made his way through an excited crowd, signing autographs and having his photo taken.

“Arriving in Vietnam was something special. It was mind-blowing, it was so passionate,” gushed Kompany.

“It seems they know their football pretty well too. They’re not just normal football fans, they’re football mad.”

Speaking to the Vietnamese media, Vincent again talked about his unbelievable welcome,

“I’ve been around a lot of places, but this was just incredible. It was surprising, it was emotional, it was crazy,” he reported.

Thank you to all of the people from Vietnam who came out, I was really taken by surprise, I didn’t expect any of this.
