December's back to back fixtures against Manchester United and Newcastle United have been moved for live screening by Sky Television.
Sky have opted to move the first Manchester derby of the season in December and the trip to the North East to take on Alan Pardew’s Newcastle the next weekend.
Roberto Mancini will now lock horns with Sir Alex Ferguson’s Manchester United on Sunday 9 December at 1.30pm instead of Saturday 8 December, while the Newcastle away game has been moved to the earlier time of 12.45pm on Saturday 15 December.
This double header of Premier League fixtures mirrors April/May last season where City claimed six hugely important points in the title race.
Ticket details will be released nearer the time.
