Ivory Coast midfielder Abdul Razak has returned early from his loan spell with the Addicks.

Abdul made two appearances in the Championship for Chris Powell’s side, featuring for a total of 124 minutes in his month-long stint at The Valley.

Razak was due to return to City in the new year but the decision has been taken to end the loan early and the player will return to Carrington with immediate effect.

Charlton drew with Wolves at the weekend where Abdul was an unused substitute, they currently lie 20th in the Championship table.

The combative midfielder has already featured for City’s first team this season, playing 105 minutes of the Capital One Cup defeat against Aston Villa and made his international debut for the Ivory Coast in a friendly against Russia in August.
