It was the match where City fans went through every emotion imaginable before launching off into orbit – the final game of the 2011/12 season.

Over the past few months, we’ve seen how most supporters celebrated that momentous 3-2 win over QPR, whether in the stadium, in the comfort of their own home or wherever.

So imagine being thousands of miles away from home, watching the drama unfurl on a bar TV screen in Santiago, Chile?

Lifelong Blue Noel Gallagher was partway through a world tour on the day of the game, but was never going to miss arguably the biggest game in City’s history.

After convincing a local bar owner to open up early, he decided to allow a film crew putting together a DVD of his tour to record him watching the game so he could have a permanent reminder of the day.

The frustration, relief, pain and eventual ecstasy of the match is captured perfectly by Noel’s reactions to each key moment, with the disbelief and celebrations at the conclusion an extension of scenes at the Etihad Stadium on the day.
