Ivory Coast midfielder Abdul Razak has joined Championship club Charlton Athletic on loan for three months.

Razak played 105 minutes of the Capital One Cup defeat against Aston Villa in the week and it’s hoped that this spell out on loan will provide vital first-team experience for the midfielder.

Charlton are managed by ex-Addicks full-back Chris Powell, they are currently in 17th place in the Championship table after Saturday’s 1-1 draw with managerless Blackburn.

Abdul made his international debut for the Ivory Coast against Russia in August.

We’ll keep you updated with how Abdul gets on at the Valley in Loan Watch on mcfc.co.uk over the coming months.
