City go into the game top of the Premier League, eight points clear of second-placed Manchester United, following a last-gasp 2-1 triumph over Southampton.

West Ham find themselves in the relegation zone and head into the clash on the back of a 4-0 thrashing at Everton.

The game will be played at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday 3 December, kick-off at 4pm (GMT).

Team news 

City remain without long-term absentee Benjamin Mendy, who is still recovering from anterior cruciate ligament damage, while John Stones is sidelined with a hamstring injury. Leroy Sane and Phil Foden face late fitness tests after they missed the midweek win over Southampton.

For West Ham, Winston Reid (hamstring), James Collins (hamstring) and Andy Carroll (knee) are major doubts, while Javier Hernandez is yet to return to full training.

Sam Byram also has a thigh strain and Jose Fonte is struggling with an ankle injury.

Referee

Mike Dean will take charge of the game with Simon Long and Daniel Cook as his assistants. Mike Jones will be the fourth official.

The Last Time

The two sides last met in February at the London Stadium, with City running out 4-0 victors thanks to goals from Kevin De Bruyne, David Silva, Yaya Toure.

The Hammers’ last trip to the Etihad Stadium heralded a 3-1 triumph for the Blues as a Raheem Sterling brace sandwiched a Fernandinho strike. Michail Antonio had halved the deficit for the visitors.
