Team news

City: Claudio Bravo (calf) is sidelined, while it remains to be seen whether Ilkay Gundogan (knee) - who has trained - is ready to return to competitive action.

Youngsters Brahim Diaz, Phil Foden, Daniel Grimshaw and Aro Muric have all travelled and are available for selection.

We’ll have an update from Pep Guardiola following Wednesday’s pre-match press conference.

United: Marcos Rojo, Luke Shaw and Ashley Young will all miss out for the Reds.

Juan Mata is a doubt due to an ankle knock, but Matteo Darmian has trained after going off injured in the Real Salt Lake game.

Last time

April’s 0-0 draw at the Etihad marked the last fixture between the sides, which kick-started a six game unbeaten run until the end of the season for Guardiola’s men.

In what was a fairly uneventful game, Marouane Fellaini saw red for the away side in the 84th minute.
