City remain without long-term absentee Benjamin Mendy, who is still recovering from anterior cruciate ligament damage, but there is a possibility that skipper Vincent Kompany could return in time for the match following a calf muscle strain. We will also await news about Fabian Delph (calf) and Raheem Sterling (back) after both players pulled out of international duty due to injury.
For Leicester, Vicente Iborra looks unlikely to star for the club due to an ankle injury and Ben Chilwell (knee) is also a doubt.
Robert Huth (foot) and Matty James (achilles) could potentially miss the game too.
Referee
Graham Scott will take charge of Saturday’s match with Richard West and Scott Ledger as his assistants.

City last met Leicester back in May this year during a Premier League clash at the Etihad stadium.
