The game will likely arrive too soon for Vincent Kompany (muscle injury), while Benjamin Mendy is a long-term absentee.

Napoli have no new injury concerns but Arkadiusz Milik is sidelined.

City have won all three of their Group F matches so far, with a 4-0 win away at Feyenoord in their opening game followed up by a 2-0 win at home to Shakhtar Donetsk and a 2-1 victory over Napoli at the Etihad Stadium.

Napoli started with a 2-1 defeat away at Shakhtar; then beat Feyenoord 3-1 at home before falling to defeat at City.
