Team news

City

John Stones missed the Manchester derby due to discomfort in his adductor muscle which also led to him sitting out recent fixtures against Liverpool and Tottenham, while Sergio Aguero is out for the season.

It looks promising for Benjamin Mendy who made an appearance for the Under-23s during the recent EDS Manchester derby.

Fernandinho is suspended after picking up his 10th yellow card.

Swansea

Leroy Fer (achilles), Renato Sanches (hamstring) and Wilfried Bony (knee) will all miss the trip to the Etihad, while Sam Clucas and Luciano Narsingh both have knocks and are doubts for Sunday’s game.

Last time

We last met Swansea at the Liberty Stadium back in December last year when we secured a 4-0 victory over the Swans.

City dominated during our last encounter with David Silva (2), Kevin De Bruyne and Sergio Aguero all making it onto the scoresheet.
