City host Bristol City in the Carabao Cup semi-final first leg on Tuesday January 9 at the Etihad Stadium. Kick off is at 7.45pm.

Team news

Long-term injury victim Benjamin Mendy remains sidelined with a knee problem, and  Phil Foden is also out after picking up an ankle ligament injury in the shoot-out win over Leicester in the last round.

Gabriel Jesus will be out for around six weeks after he suffered a MCL knee problem against Crystal Palace on New Years Eve.

Vincent Kompany is on the road to recovery after his calf problem but it’s unclear whether he will feature.
