Team news

Fabian Delph (knee), Phil Foden (ankle), Gabriel Jesus (knee) and Benjamin Mendy (knee) remain sidelined for the Blues, while Leroy Sane has been ruled out for up to seven weeks with ankle ligament damage.

For Alan Pardew’s side: Sam Field and Gareth McClauley have been be struck with illness and are a doubt for Wednesday’s game.

While Kieran Gibbs, Hal Robson-Kanu, Jonny Evans, Jake Livermore (all hamstring), Nacer Chadli (thigh) and James Morrision (achilles) are also a major doubt for the Baggies.

Last time

City have met West Brom twice already this season, once in the third round of the Carabao Cup and again in October in the Premier League.

Last time, Pep’s side secured a 3-2 win over the Baggies at the Hawthorns with Leroy Sane, Fernandinho and Raheem Sterling scoring for the Blues.

Jay Rodriguez and Matt Phillips scored two for the home side.
