Team news

John Stones will not be in contention for tomorrow’s game after he suffered a concussion during the international break, while Sergio Aguero’s knee problem will be assessed closer to kick-off.

Benjamin Mendy remains out with his long-term ACL knee injury.

Everton have a number of players out of action at the moment, with Mason Holgate (ankle), Tom Davies (neck), Idrissa Gueye (hamstring), Gylfi Sigurdsson (knee) and James McCarthy (leg) all out of action and unlikely to feature on Saturday.

City defender and loan star Eliaquim Mangala is also out due to a knee injury.

Last time

City last met the Toffees back in August last year when the game ended level at the Etihad after Raheem Sterling equalised in the 83rd minute of the clash.
