Last time

City’s 1-0 win at Stamford Bridge earlier this season was an indication of the Blues’ intent to wrestle the Premier League title away from Stamford Bridge.

Kevin De Bruyne’s superb second-half winner secured three points for City, but it was the manner of the win that convinced many experts that Pep Guardiola’s side were the real deal this term.

Chelsea arrive at the Etihad needing points to maintain their Champions League berth target and Antonio Conte’s men will be keen to show they are still a force be reckoned with - even though their Premier League crown is likely to be passed on to City over the next month or so.
