“And the manner in which Baftimbi Gomis left Mangala looking lost for Swansea’s goal was equally worrying.
“Both players have their qualities, but both look infinitely better with Kompany beside them.
“City have kept seven clean sheets in the eight Premier League games the Belgian has played this season.
“They have not kept one in the eight he has missed.
“Pellegrini said on Friday he not expecting his skipper to be recovered from his calf injury in time for the clash with Arsenal a week on Monday.
