Amidst all the build-up, Sky Sports’ pundits have been making their predictions for the match, with many expecting City to come out on top.

Niall Quinn said: “Man City are pretty, but they have also dug results out lately [at Crystal Palace and Burnley], which really counts when you start adding all the points up at the end of the year.
“Predicting it is difficult, but I think City being the home side have a little bit of an edge.”
Meanwhile, Jamie Carragher said: “I think Pep Guardiola will be desperate to get one over on Chelsea and the system and set-up that they are using because he’s been the manager who, when he has come in, we’ve been talking about systems and doing different things.”

“His reemergence from mothballs in recent weeks to play a winning role in the vital away wins at Crystal Palace and Burnley has reignited the hope that Pep Guardiola might be persuaded to reinstate him to City’s Champions League squad for the coming knockout round.
“His experience would be valuable. His drive to claim one final winner’s medal could also prove a distinct aid.”
Finally, City are monitoring the form of two young Scandinavian strikers according to reports this morning.
17-year-old Alexander Isak has 13 goals in 29 appearances in the Allsvenskan for AIK this season while 19-year-old Kasper Dolberg is proving a revelation at Ajax.
Simon Jones for Mail Online writes: “Manchester City are continuing to monitor Swedish teenager Alexander Isak.
“However, the calibre of clubs left in the hunt reflects how highly AIK value to the 6ft 3ins Sweden U21 international as they look for a club record transfer fee.
“City have also been following Ajax’s highly-rated 19-year-old forward Kasper Dolberg, as are Chelsea and Manchester United.”
