There’s a heady mix of player interviews, transfer speculation and tales of daring do from the Dutch league to be had today, so let’s get straight to it.
First to Fabian Delph, whose comments about David Silva (299 appearances and counting...) after the Chelsea game have been picked up by Goal.com.
Delph said: “On a personal level, for someone of his calibre – such an amazing player, an amazing guy – to put his arm around you and help your confidence, it’s been absolutely fantastic to me.
“On a football level, he’s an amazing player and I wouldn’t be surprised if he played another 300 games because he seems to be getting sharper, he’s looking great.”

(We realise this is the media watching the media watching the media, but it’s to do with Silva and Delph, so just go with it...)
A short hop over the Channel reveals a decidedly blue-tinted match between FC Twente and PSV Eindhoven in the Dutch Eredivisie on Thursday night.
Enes Unal continued his fine form in front of goal with a clinical strike after seven minutes, while fellow City loanee Bersant Celina scored an equaliser in added time to make it 2-2.
Two more City loan players (Yaw Yeboah, Twente and Oleksandr Zinchenko, PSV) were unused substitutes.

Right, that’s enough reality for this media round-up, let’s hightail towards some transfer speculation and predicted line-ups.
Firstly talkSPORT carry a story about City’s reported interest in Thiago Alcantara.
Their story reads: “Bayern Munich are ready to offer Thiago Alcantara a new contract to ward off interest from Manchester City and Real Madrid.
“The midfielder is enjoying one of his best seasons in Germany this year and he is wanted by the two European giants.
“However, Bayern have no plans to let the Spain international go and they are reportedly preparing to give him a new deal to persuade him to stay.
“Thiago’s current contract expires in June 2019 and he will be offered an extension which would potentially run until 2022.”
There’s a similar story, different name over in the Daily Mail.
Sami Mokbel writes: “Tottenham believe they are virtually certain of keeping Dele Alli this summer.
“Alli recently signed a new long-term contract at White Hart Lane, yet fears were surfacing that one of Europe’s big guns would pursue the England star this summer after another outstanding season.
“Real Madrid and Manchester City have both shown a concrete interest in luring the 20-year-old midfielder away from north London.”
Man City v Hull: Kick-off time, team news and TV info
Finally, Jack Watts in the Daily Star has had a crack at predicting City’s team for the Hull game.
He scribes: “Manchester City will be hoping to bounce back from their midweek defeat to Chelsea with a win against a resurgent Hull side.
“Fabian Delph put in a very good display against the Blues and Pep Guardiola could well reward the midfielder with another start.
“But what could the rest of their line-up look like?”
