Firstly, Fabian Delph says he does not want to leave City, despite rumours he is a target for a number of clubs.
The midfielder has spent much of the season on the treatment table nursing a groin problem, but has returned to the fold in recent weeks and made cameo appearances against West Ham and Tottenham.
And the 27-year-old has told the Manchester Evening News that it is his intention to remain at City for the foreseeable future.
“A couple of mates have said to me: ‘You’ve been linked with X, Y and Z’ but I’ve not given it any thought,” he said.
“I’m happy here. I feel like I can help my teammates and I’m obviously fit again so I can get some more minutes and help the team to push on.
“I love it here. I’m working with the best players in the world, great management, great staff around me and I’m very, very happy here.
“I want to try to help my teammates push forward. I’m fit so hopefully I’ll get some more minutes.”
Meanwhile, City youngster Patrick Roberts, currently enjoying an 18-month loan stint at Celtic, says he wants to return to City this summer and fight for a place in Pep Guardiola’s squad.
Roberts scored against City earlier in the season when Celtic came to the Etihad Stadium in the Champions League, with Guardiola admitting afterwards he was impressed with the winger’s display.
”I’ll always have that belief; the more you play, the more you improve,” he told the BBC.
“It’s been my first proper season playing men’s football. I did a bit at Fulham, but I was in and out, the same at Man City, so coming here, the manager before [Ronny Deila] played me a lot and Brendan’s [Rodgers] been really good with me as well.
“It’s been good and I’m thoroughly enjoying it. I came here to improve, to win trophies and score goals.
“Hopefully at the end of the season I can take that back with me to City and have a good go there. It’s been a great experience and I’m thankful for that.”
