Our Spanish magician says he loves life at City and wants to remain at the Club for as long as his body will allow him to be competitive.
And he has praised the management of Pep Guardiola who he feels has created a system at City that allows creative players to excel.
“I’m very happy to be at City and I would like to continue there for as long as possible,” Silva said.. “It obviously depends on my health, my quality on the pitch and if the club want me to stay. I would like to be there until the end but the Premier League is such a hard league to play in, it is much more physical than somewhere like La Liga, so it depends.
“Guardiola has helped me so when I receive the ball I have space. The way Guardiola plays suits me, it enables me to get into space in attacking positions.
“The thing he does is he gets me to concentrate on seeing where I can put the ball. There is always some space to put it into. I am always trying to find those areas, it makes us attack better.”

Meanwhile, the transfer rumour mill continues to motor and if the gossip columns are to be believed, it could be a busy few weeks here at the CFA.
One name which has emerged in recent days is Dani Alves, and the BBC’s Simon Stone is the latest to suggest City will sign the Juventus right-back this summer.
Alves played under Guardiola at Barcelona, winning three La Liga titles, two Spanish Cups and two Champions Leagues together, and recently described the City manager as “a genius”.
And Stone believes a deal for the 24-year-old could be on the cards.
“Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola could turn to Juventus’ Dani Alves to strengthen his full-back options,” Stone writes.
“City do not have an experienced right-back after releasing out-of-contract duo Pablo Zabaleta and Bacary Sagna.
“Guardiola has been linked with Tottenham’s Kyle Walker but is understood to be considering whether to bid for 34-year-old Alves, who played for Juve in their Champions League final loss to Real Madrid on 3 June.
“It is thought Juve want £5m for Alves.”
The Sun’s Mike McGrath is also reporting City’s interest in Alves – and says Tottenham’s Kyle Walker and Monaco’s Benjamin Mendy are also on the Club’s radar.
“Alves, who has a year left on his Juve deal, is viewed as a prime target and a key part of Pep’s Etihad shake-up — but so is Tottenham’s Walker,” writes McGrath.
“The England defender, 27, showed his versatility when the right-sided star played on the left flank against France last week.
“Benjamin Mendy is also expected to arrive at City from Monaco at left-back and the trio will cover for the loss of full-backs Pablo Zabaleta, Gael Clichy and Bacary Sagna, who left on free transfers.”
