Let’s start with Kyle Walker, who has told Sky Sports he wants to see City “dominate” English football in the coming years.
The Blues secured the title in devastating fashion last season, securing 100 points and finishing 19 points ahead of second-placed Manchester United.
But Walker says complacency isn’t an option and believes we have the tools to do more.
“Obviously, he’s [Pep] not striving for [just] one title and we’re not as well - we want more. I don’t want to sound big headed, but we want to dominate English football,” Walker said.
“I think we’ve got the players here, and we’ve definitely got the manager, to do that, so we need to keep listening.
“Every day is a learning day and you can always adjust to different tactics, adjust to different formations and that’s something we need to take on collectively as a group - that’s manager and players - to make sure that we can dominate the English game.
“I’ve not just signed here to pick up my first Premier League title and then say ‘OK, I’ll rest on that’.
“I’m hungry for a lot more. There’s a lot of challengers, there are a lot of good teams in the Premier League.”

Meanwhile, Walker has also heaped praise on teammate Phil Foden.
Foden, 18, has enjoyed a vintage year, winning the Premier League with City and the U17 World Cup with England - and Walker says he is a big fan of the midfielder.
“Phil’s a great player, he’s got great attitude and he’s a great lad. He wants to learn, he’s keen to listen,” he told the Express.
“I’ve met a lot of young players throughout my career who’ve kind of got a chip on their shoulder but he’s definitely not one of them.”
“He’s one of those who wants to learn and he shows that in his performances – he’s keen, he’s energetic, he’s keeping people on their toes.
“Phil was very fortunate in his first season around the squad to pick up a Premier League medal – not many kids can say that they’ve done that. But he’s not rested on that,” he added.
“He could have come back from the summer, not really trained hard, gone and partied or whatever, which young kids do nowadays. But he’s not done that.
“He’s been working hard – he was even at the World Cup in Russia so that’s how much he loves the game of football.”
And, finally, ahead of City’s first home game of the new Premier League season against Huddersfield this Sunday, Rory Benson at the Huddersfield Daily Examiner has been debating aspects of their lineup, inlcuding this on who should start upfront for David Wagner’s men.
“Will Steve Mounie or Laurent Depoitre lead the line?” Benson writes.
“We saw both strikers last time out, with Mounie starting and Laurent Depoitre coming off the bench.
“Both had solid pre-seasons, bagging three and two goals each respectively, handing the boss a headache ahead of last weekend’s clash with Chelsea.
“Wagner opted for Mounie, but neither the former Montpellier man nor the Belgian international could make a difference to the scoreline.
“The boss has always preferred playing with a lone striker since joining Town, but in the second 45 minutes against the Blues, Mounie and Depoitre were deployed as a partnership.
“Although it is unlikely both will start at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday, could we again see both men on the same pitch after half time?”
