And there’s a healthy dose of transfer news to contend with, too.
Let’s start with tonight’s big game - and Dion Dublin says City are his favourites every time he watches us play.
The former Coventry and Aston Villa striker told Premier League Today: “Unfortunately for any team Man City are playing at the moment, in the Premier League, they are going to be favourites in my view.
“Regardless of whether it’s a one-off league game, because they’re that good.
“If they turn up they’ll beat anybody. With Spurs knowing full well it’s a really good chance for them, let’s just hope all their players turn up.
“Every single player with a Spurs shirt on has to affect the game.
“If there’s one Spurs player that’s not playing well, they’ve got no chance.”

Former Chelsea, Inter Milan and Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho says City are definite contenders to win this season’s Champions League.
However, he warns that the new Tottenham Hotspur Stadium could provide Spurs with added incentive to get a good result in this evening’s first leg.
“Of course, City is a candidate to win the competition,” he told RT.
“But the first Champions League big night at the new stadium I believe will be extra motivation for the whole Spurs family.
“I wouldn’t be surprised if Spurs give City a hard night.”
The Manchester Evening News’ Stuart Brennan believes Vincent Kompany should come back into the starting lineup on Tuesday to deal with the physical threat posed by Spurs striker Harry Kane.
“Whether Benjamin Mendy can be asked to go again, so soon after his latest injury comeback, is questionable,” he writes.
“That, and the fact that Pep Guardiola clearly rates Harry Kane, could pave the way for the return of Vincent Kompany.
“Aymeric Laporte could shuffle across to left back, where he has looked secure and still able to use his laser-guided left foot this season, with Kompany and either John Stones or Nicolas Otamendi at centre back.
“Guardiola has made a big thing about how Kompany is able to come in out of the cold and perform at a high level – and as a player who could physically dominate, and nullify, Kane, it seems a viable option.”
ESPN’s Gabriel Marcotti predicts a 2-2 draw – and says width will be key for City.
He writes: “MANCHESTER CITY NEED TO ... play their game, unleash the speedy wingers to stretch the pitch horizontally and avoid lapses in concentration at the back.
“FIRST LEG PREDICTION: 2-2. The new stadium effect, coupled with Pochettino’s willingness to go for broke, will lead to goals.”
Finally, some transfer gossip.
Journalist Duncan Castles says City are keen on adding Atletico Madrid’s Rodri to the squad this summer.
Speaking on the Transfer Window Podcast, he said: “They feel they’re quite far advanced in securing the player. One of the major candidates is Rodri at Atletico Madrid. The advantage of that Spain international is that he has a defined buy-out clause which is accessible for Manchester City.
“He’s interested in coming, they rate him highly, Guardiola likes him a lot and he looks at present to be a better bet than, for example, Ruben Neves - who’s another player in that position that they’ve pursued for a long time.
“They know [Ruben] Neves can do it in the Premier League, but the problem with Neves is Wolves are in no need of money and value him at over £100m. That is significantly more than they would have to pay to get Rodri from Atletico.”
