In focus: City's winning run rolls on

City dispatch Baggies in return to Premier League action

City extended their winning run to 13 games in all competitions with a 3-2 win against West Brom at the Hawthorns.

Leroy Sané handed City an early lead before Jay Rodriguez levelled proceedings just minutes later in a hectic opening 15 minutes.

Fernandinho was quick to restore the lead with an effort from distance, as City began to dominate.

Substitute Raheem Sterling then added a third, and Matt Phillips’ late strike was not enough to deny Pep Guardiola’s side a tenth-consecutive league win.
