Manchester City were back at work on Thursday following the Champions League first leg disappointment at Anfield.

The Blues suffered a 3-0 defeat on Merseyside, but must refocus quickly ahead of a potentially title-clinching Manchester derby on Saturday, before the return UCL game at the Etihad next Tuesday.
