After defeating Chelsea on the weekend, the boys were back in focus mode with a Champions League match against FC Basel on the horizon.
With Mendy and Sterling back in training, the lads got an extra boost with two key players back and able to push the team to further heights. Benjamin and Raheem are not match ready, the double dose of personality and ability is surely a benefit to the squad.
We will go into Wednesday’s match with a 4-0 lead in which should be a comfortable 90 minutes of football for the boys in blue.
