City's focus trained on Brighton

Manchester City were back at work at the CFA on Wednesday as attention reverted to the Premier League and Saturday’s Etihad clash with Brighton.

A little over 12 hours after our impressive Carabao Cup win away at Oxford, the players were put through their paces with the focus very much on the return to league action.

The Blues will be seeking to make it six wins out of seven when Brighton visit the Etihad at the weekend as we seek to maintain the pressure on leaders Liverpool.

And City will go into the fixture buoyed by the memory of victories both home and away against Chris Hughton’s side last season.
