City made a bright start to the contest but the Foxes took a surprise lead when Jamie Vardy raced through and clipped the ball over Ederson.

The lead would last only eight minutes when Mahrez, who was superb throughout the game, cut inside and saw his drilled effort deflect off Caglar Soyuncu and into the net.

Gundogan put us ahead moments before the interval, converting from the penalty spot after Ricardo Pereira fouled Raheem Sterling and Jesus wrapped up the victory when he slid in at the far post to meet the sensational Kevin De Bruyne’s cross.
