Gallery: Seven up for City slickers

Manchester City booked our place in the fourth round of the FA Cup with a 7-0 thrashing over Rotherham United at the Etihad.

It was an afternoon to remember for Phil Foden with the teenager registering his first senior goal for the Club on home soil.

Raheem Sterling had opened the scoring with a 12th minute strike for the Blues before Foden’s moment to savour late in the first half.

A minute later Semi Ajayi put through his own goal to send City in 3-0 up at the break.

The avalanche of goals then continued after the break with Gabriel Jesus, Riyad Mahrez, Nicolas Otamendi and Leroy Sane all scoring to set the seal on what was another impressive afternoon’s work.
