Training: City's eyes on the Carabao Cup prize

There was no lack of Monday motivation for City at a chilly but sun-drenched CFA with the focus firmly trained on Tuesday’s Carabao Cup last 16 clash with Southampton.

It’s the first of two successive Etihad encounters with the Saints with Ralph Hasenhüttl’s side also in town next Saturday for a Premier League assignment.

City will go into Tuesday’s clash with an extra spring in our step after a productive week that saw us record three wins on the bounce.
