Manchester City blew away Preston North End at Deepdale to advance into the Fourth Round of the Carabao Cup, with goals from Raheem Sterling, Gabriel Jesus and a Ryan Ledson own goal enough to ensure

The defending champions made a typically fast start to the game and opened the scoring in the 20^th minute through Sterling.

Jesus doubled our lead in the 35^th minute, finishing expertly after a brilliant pass by our No.7.

The third came shortly after, with Ledson directing the ball into his own net after good work by skipper David Silva.

The Blues probed for a fourth in the second half and remained solid at the back to ensure a comfortable victory.
